Dubai UAE, December 1, 2023 – China Innovation Centre at Dubai Chambers in collaboration with Nasdaq-listed company NaaS Technology Inc. (NASDAQ: NAAS), a subsidiary of NewLink Technology Limited – a prominent energy digitalisation group in China – commemorated the grand opening of their exhibition hall during the launch ceremony at the China Innovation Centre, hosted by Dubai Chambers. This event underscores a pivotal collaboration in the realm of new energy, with the initiative aimed at propelling China's technological innovation enterprises onto the global stage.
NaaS Technology Inc., debuted on Nasdaq in the United States in 2022, and stands as a technological innovator renowned as the "premier stock in China's charging service sector." The strategic cooperation agreement between NaaS Technology Inc. and China Innovation Centre at Dubai Chambers was signed during the 2023 Dubai Business Forum early November. As the pioneering high-tech enterprise to establish a foothold at the China Innovation Centre, they jointly constructed a corporate visual exhibition hall situated in the New Building of the Dubai Chambers Headquarters located along the banks of Dubai Creek. The 45-day exhibition combines visual imagery and tangible exhibits, showcasing NaaS Technology Inc.'s cutting-edge technological accomplishments in the charging services sector and its vision of "serving the world with green energy."
The unveiling of China Innovation Centre at Dubai Chambers– Energy Chain Smart Electronics Exhibition Hall occurred during the 28th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP28), resonating with the conference's "Unity, Action, Implementation" theme through tangible actions.
This space serves as the overseas exhibition hall, reception area, and brand centre for Chinese enterprises, showcasing and promoting their products and technological innovation capabilities to the expansive markets of United Arab Emirates, Central Southeast Asia, and Africa.
Mohammed Ali Kassam, Director of the Investment Promotion Department at Dubai Chambers, graced the opening ribbon-cutting ceremony and delivered an impactful speech.
This year marks the 10th anniversary of the "Belt and Road" initiative.
Under the guidance of the Sheikh of Dubai, Dubai Chambers was established in 1965 as a governmental organisation.
